Architecture and Furnishings
The museum is divided into three thematically designed sections:
Tapestries and Textile Art: This section presents a collection of tapestries and other textile artworks created between 1910 and 1935 by Elena Mars Albert and her collaborators. These works were later gifted to the museum by the Albert family.
Tools of Lanzese Textile Art: Numerous original tools used in Lanzo Torinese and the surrounding valleys for creating the characteristic Lanzese embroideries are displayed here. A notable exhibit is a functional loom from the late 19th century, restored in 2009 and still in operation today.
